Teaching Assistants for PubPol 221 (9/11 & Its Aftermath) should have in depth knowledge of and prior coursework in one or more of the following areas: Middle East Studies, Islamic Civilizations, Terrorism Studies, and/or U.S. post-9/11 counterterrrorism policy. TAs will attend all class sessions and hold discussion sessions 4-5 times throughout the semester on topics determined with Professor Schanzer. TAs will also assist in grading 2 mid-term essays and essay re-writes (but not finals). TAs are also responsible for managing the course blog and handling other course logistics.
