The Cinematic Arts Studio Assistant helps connect and promote the activities of the Cinematic Arts program to students across the University, as well as helping keep the Studio and Soundstage running safely and effectively. This is a great job for someone who has some film skills and interest and wants to collaborate closely with the Cinematic Arts Program. This is a peer-facing role where you'll be both the face of the program to students who don't yet know the program exists, as well as helping activate facilities and helping current students do their best work. -Manage the Studio and Soundstage along with the Studio Manager and Studio Associate (working hours will fall sometime between 11:30-5:30 on the weekdays, and 12:00-3:00 on Saturday. Schedules will be decided upon hiring), helping students learn the equipment and work in the space -Help make cinematic Instagram reels documenting and creatively promoting Cinematic Arts Events -Help connect and inform film-curious and current Cinematic Arts undergrads, faculty and MFA students, being an approachable presence helping students navigate equipment and facilities -Additional duties when there are no visitors to the Studio might include updating the website or additional admin |
