Graduate students interested in climate change and/or Southeast Asia are invited to apply for a hybrid Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) and Teaching Assistant (TA) role. The individual will work closely with Dr. Jonathan Stromseth, Professor of the Practice at the Sanford School, on both course and project-work that is related to climate innovations in Southeast Asia. It is estimated the individual would spend 70% of their effort on research activities and 30% on teaching support. Work will begin in September and continue through the remainder of the calendar year, including the summer. Extension into the spring 2027 is possible. The project team anticipates much of the work will be conducted remotely. Weekly meetings with Dr. Stromseth and project staff will likely be conducted in person in Rubenstein Hall. We will pay the Sanford School rate ($17.25/hour). The time commitment is expected to be 10-15 hours per week.
