Overview The Clark Scholars Program at Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering develops engineers who are entrepreneurial, socially engaged, and academically exceptional. Leadership Ambassadors are current Clark Scholars who partner closely with program staff and fellow Scholars to strengthen community engagement, organize signature events, and support leadership development initiatives across the program. Responsibilities - Help plan and execute community-building events, leadership workshops, and peer mentoring activities
- Serve as a liaison between Clark Scholars cohorts and program staff, surfacing student feedback and needs
- Develop and implement communication strategies, including newsletters, social media content, and event promotion
- Support data gathering and documentation of student achievements, program milestones, and outreach initiatives
- Coordinate logistics for speaker sessions, networking events, and site visits
- Contribute original ideas for enhancing scholar engagement and leadership programming
Learning Outcomes Students will build skills in leadership development, program operations, event management, and strategic communication within a high-impact, nationally recognized engineering scholars program. |
