PreMiEr ERCThe National Science Foundation (NSF) funded Engineering Research Center (ERC) for Precision Microbiome Engineering (PreMiEr) is a multi-university, multi-disciplinary scientific research organization housed in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the Duke Pratt School of Engineering. PreMiEr’s mission is to improve human health through modification of built environment microbiomes. PreMiEr comprises approximately 150 faculty and scholars from Duke University, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, North Carolina State University, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in addition to external partners. The ERC is in Year 3 of a potential 10-year funding period. Position Summary:The PreMiEr Engineering Research Center is seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented Research Communications & Program Operations Assistant to support the Administrative Director in advancing the Center's communications, research visibility, and operational reporting. This position combines science communication, digital media, project coordination, and data management. The successful candidate will help communicate the impact of PreMiEr's research while supporting the systems used to collect, organize, and report Center activities throughout the year.
