The Office for the Vice Provost for the Arts (Duke Arts) is hiring three undergraduate or graduate students with an interest in content creation and communications to join our Marketing & Communications team for the 2026–27 academic year. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in arts marketing, communications, content creation, and live event documentation across Duke Arts programming. Content Creation & Multimedia Responsibilities Include:
· Capture high-quality photos and video of Duke Arts events (including performances, campus/community engagements, and workshops) · Deliver both raw and edited media in a timely manner optimized for social, web, and communications needs · Create and adapt design collateral (social media, newsletter, and advertising graphics; flyers; web visuals) · Edit short- and long-form video using original and archival Duke Arts content · Stay current on social media trends, tools, and best practices · Collaborate with marketing team members to contribute to strategy around content development and storytelling · Write stories for Duke Arts News, including alumni features, Q&As, and more · Pitch ideas for new content for all Duke Arts channels |
