Job Description

Assist masters students by holding weekly virtual, individual, or small group tutoring sessions for statistics.

1) Facilitate at least 4 1-hour virtualvirtual, individual, or small group tutoring sessionss per week for PUBPOL 741/812 and 822

2) Tutor individual students outside of small group sessions when schedules conflict

3) Manage session sign-up process

4)Attend PUBPOL 812/741, and PUBPOL 822 lectures at least twice to better understand material

Job Requirements

Must have earned an A or better in a masters level statistics course. Dependable, excellent communication skills, ability to work autonomously, and previous experience as a TA, tutor, and/or instructor preferred.

**Tutors should look to hold office hours during the following time frames: Mondays 8:30-10:00AM; 11:45AM-1:15PM; 2:45-5:00PM, Tuesdays 11:30AM-1:15PM; 2:45-5:00PM, Wednesdays 8:30-10:00AM; 2:45-5:00PM, Thursdays 11:30AM-1:15PM; 2:45-5:00PM, and Fridays 2:45-5:00PM
