This Teaching Assistant (TA) will support student learning and course administration in PUBPOL832 (“Data Analysis for Decision-Makers”), the core quantitative analysis course in the Sanford School’s Master of Public Affairs (MPA) program, during the Summer 2026 term (which runs from late May through early August). The TA is expected to work between 5-10 hours per week. The position will be primarily remote, but preference will be shown to students who can also participate in the MPA’s in-person “residency” in Washington, DC at the beginning of the Summer term. MPA courses meet online during the evening, so this is an ideal opportunity for Sanford MPP students interested in part-time work in addition to their summer internship, for students in other Duke master's programs with a quantitative focus, or for PhD students interested in gaining instructional experience. |
