The Pratt School of Engineering is seeking a part-time Multimedia Intern (a rising sophomore - class of 2029 - in a Trinity arts major) to support strategic communications initiatives that promote the school’s research, faculty expertise, student achievements, and community impact. Duke Engineering is committed to advancing engineering education and research that addresses complex global challenges—from climate and sustainability to health innovation, AI, and infrastructure. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, hands-on learning, and industry partnerships, our school prepares students to lead and innovate in a rapidly changing world. The Multimedia Intern will support the development of compelling, mission-driven content that highlights impact across digital platforms. This role will contribute to storytelling efforts that align with institutional priorities and enhance the school’s visibility among prospective students, alumni, faculty, partners, and donors. Duke Engineering maintains several communications platforms that the intern will help support and elevate, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and web-based news features. The intern will assist the team with the creation and archiving of multimedia content, which may include: · Social media posts highlighting research breakthroughs, student experiences, and faculty thought leadership · Short-form video content for digital platforms · Event photography and recap content · Graphics and visual assets aligned with brand standards |
