Job Description |
The Innovation Co-Lab is looking for a creative and passionate student to join our team as a Content Creator. In this role, you will be responsible for sharing engaging and high-quality visual content that showcases the innovation, projects, and culture of our makerspace. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop photo, video, and other multimedia content for social media, promotion materials, and event marketing. |

Job Requirements |
- Capture and post high-quality photos and videos of makerspace events, workshops, projects, and everyday activities.
- Create and post engaging Instagram posts, stories, and reels that highlight the makerspace's activities, equipment, and student projects.
- Plan and produce short-form and long-form video content for social media platforms
- Edit and enhance videos and photos using professional editing toole (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or other editing software).
- Conduct interviews with makerspace participants, staff, and project teams to create future stories for newsletters, blogs, and social media.
- Maintain an organized archive of visial content and media assets for future use.
- Stay updated on social media trents and suggest creative ways to promote the makerspace's activities.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand identity of the makerspace and is optimized for each platform's audience.
- Representing and documenting the Co-Lab at marketing events and speaking to the broader Duke community about the program.
- Monitor our social media followers by engaging with tags, comments, direct messages, and posts.
