The undergraduate student will be helping to synthesize poly(allyl glycidyl succinate) copolymers of different degrees of polymerization. These copolymers will then be derivatized with phosphate groups to explore the utility of these materials in bone and hard tissue adhesives. The mechanical and thermal behavior of the materials will also be characterized. |
