Job Description

The Duke Gap Year Program (DGYP), part of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, seeks an Events Intern to assist in coordinating activities that bring together the DGYP community.

Job Requirements

Propose on-campus and Durham-area events to strengthen connections between DGYP alums on campus
Assist with event logistics, such as space reservations, catering, set up, and clean up
Keep track of expenses
Assist in planning the fall 2026 DGYP retreat
Attend recruitment events (e.g. tabling at Blue Devil Days) as needed and as available
Engage with current and incoming cohort as needed and as available
