The Full Frame Documentary Film Festival, one of the nation’s premier showcases for nonfiction cinema, seeks a motivated student with a passion for the arts, communications, and community engagement. The Marketing & Outreach Assistant reports directly to the Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing & Development teams to support social media, digital content, community partnerships, and press/media outreach for the 2025–26 festival year. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in arts marketing, outreach research, and event support while contributing to the visibility and impact of a world-renowned film festival based in Durham, NC. Timeframe and Commitment: Fall 2025: 10–15 hours/week Spring 2026: 10-15 hours/week, with opportunity for additional hours in the lead up to and during the festival, April 16-19, 2026. Hours will not exceed 19 hours per week. Key Responsibilities - Social Media & Content Creation
- Pitch creative ideas for posts and campaigns.
- Draft and schedule social media copy across platforms.
- Assist in creating short-form digital content.
- Press & Media Research
- Maintain and update press and media contact lists.
- Research and identify new media targets, including influencers and bloggers.
- Support tracking of press coverage and opportunities.
- Community Partners Program
- Research and identify community groups, schools, and organizations for partnership.
- Maintain Airtable databases of deliverables and partner engagement.
- Assist with communications and tracking for the program.
- Outreach & Research
- Research new outreach opportunities with cultural, academic, and local organizations.
- Support marketing campaigns that connect Full Frame with new audiences and community groups.
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Support marketing and development projects during peak festival season.
- Assist with onsite support during the 2026 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival (April 16–19).
