Job Description

Professor Augustus Wendell is seeking undergraduate only student research assistants for the Arts Research Lab. Projects will apply technology to Arts and Culture production. Projects may include critical generative AI, design futures, critical cultural studies, robotics, inflatables and soft robotics, material science and interactive generative systems design. Students who are interested in both creative arts and technological development are urged to apply for these 25-26 academic year positions.

Job Requirements

Experience and interest in some of the following areas required:

Technical: Fabrication and Engineering, Micro-Controllers, Robotics, Programming, Software Architecture, Interaction Design, Generative Systems, 3D Printing

Creative: Visual Art Creation, Performaning Arts, Sketching/Ideation, Project Development, Portfolio Design, Design Thinking, Product Design

Required Skills

Computer Technology, Data Analysis, Digital Marketing and Branding, Graphic User Interfaces (GUI), Infographics
