Job Description |
All Private Pilates instructors are required to hold a current comprehensive Pilates Instructor Certification from a respected and validated certifying organization. Current CPR and First Aid Certifications are Also Required. Job Requirements |
- Must maintain a current comprehensive Pilates Instructor Certification from a respected and validated certifying organization.
- Must maintain a current CPR and First Aid Certification throughout employment.
- Plan, prepare and instruct safe and effective private Pilates sessions and assessments on a reformer.
- Maintain knowledge of general fitness, wellness, anatomy, kinesiology, and physiology as it relates to human movement and muscular conditioning.
- Provide fun and motivational instruction and education on the benefits of healthy living through exercise.
- Assist with maintaining the health and quality of all Pilates-based fitness equipment.
- Maintain and organize confidential client information and paperwork.
- Achieve proficiency in the use of any required Software programs as deemed necessary by the Fitness Department.
- Understand and enforce University Recreation and Area Specific policies and guidelines.
- Attend required trainings.
- Develop professional relationships with co-workers, participants, and guests.
