The Pratt School of Engineering’s Dean’s Office and Undergraduate Office are seeking motivated and dependable student workers to join our Student Ambassadors Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an academic environment while supporting the daily operations of two key administrative offices.

Student Ambassadors serve as the first point of contact for visitors and play a vital role in maintaining the smooth functioning of the office. Responsibilities include:

• Greet and welcome visitors and guests with professionalism and courtesy
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls; take messages when necessary
• Respond to routine inquiries regarding the school, campus tours, and general information
• Monitor and distribute incoming mail; deliver items to appropriate recipients
• Receive and sign for package deliveries; send timely notification emails to recipients
• Maintain inventory of office supplies and restock as needed
• Perform clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and document preparation for the Dean’s Executive Assistant and other office personnel
• Restock refrigerator and ensure refreshments are available when appropriate
• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the reception area and conference room
• Assist with additional tasks and special projects as assigned
• Adhere to office policies regarding confidentiality and professional conduct
