The Deep Tech Program at Duke, within the Sanford School of Public Policy, explores how deep technologies like artificial intelligence, quantum computing, advanced semiconductors, cybersecurity, and climate technologies will impact business and society. Duke’s approach to technology policy places a priority on research and outreach that will make a practical impact. Deep Tech Research Assistants will report to David Hoffman. Topics of interest include AI for metascience, defining and securing the AI technology stack, geopolitics and infrastructure of deep technologies, hyperscaler data center’s climate impact, and impact of deep technologies on Latin America. |
