The Peer Communication Coach supports undergraduate students in developing strong and effective communication skills. The coach acts as a resource and guide, offering individualized support and strategies to enhance verbal and nonverbal communication in various communication contexts, including public speaking, group discussions, and presentations. Key duties and responsibilities · Meet with students in one-on-one coaching sessions each week. · Facilitate small group sessions with students. · Lead or co-lead group workshops as needed. · Help individuals identify areas for improvement, set goals, and develop action plans related to communication. · Facilitate skill development through practice exercises, role-playing, and constructive feedback on verbal and nonverbal communication, including body language, active listening, and presentation skills. · Help individuals refine clarity, conciseness, and presentation skills. · Maintain a confidential and supportive coaching environment. |
