Seeking a PhD or Masters student to serve as a teaching assistant (TA) for Fall 2025 SCISOC 690 (APPLIED ETHICS & POLICY). Applicants will ideally have working knowledge of major ethical theories (utilitarianism, deontology, etc.), and, also ideally, some experience with/knowledge of contemporary technologies (e.g., biomedical, AI, etc.). TA responsibilities include attending class meetings (Mondays, 10:20AM - 12:50PM), answering some student inquiries, assisting with assessing student work, and (if interested) leading class 1-2 times (with instructor guidance beforehand and feedback afterward). Workload is an average of (maximum) 10 hours per week. |
