Duke Learning Innovation and Lifetime Education (LILE) is Duke University’s central source for teaching and learning innovation on campus as well as Duke’s professional, continuing, and online education offerings. This position will support primarily public-facing (or learner-facing) communications and marketing efforts for educational opportunities such as Duke Pre-College, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI at Duke), and online professional development programs. In collaboration with the marketing team, responsibilities and tasks may include: Creation of on-brand marketing materials, such as: Flyers Social media graphics or other content Additional promotional pieces such as rack cards, postcards, event programs, posters and more.
Drafting high-quality communications, especially emails, for the purposes of participant recruitment, sharing general program information, and marketing new programs. Drafting content for continuing education digital newsletters. Supporting communications for program events and trips. Supporting information session planning or content. Responding to inquiries or supporting LILE program and support teams by drafting FAQs or standardized inquiry responses.
