The Christensen Family Center for Innovation (CFCI) is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing & Communications Intern to help showcase the impact of Duke researchers and expand awareness of CFCI programs among graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. This role combines storytelling, content creation, and outreach. The intern will help develop compelling communications that highlight student success stories, promote entrepreneurship and commercialization programs, and strengthen engagement across the Duke community. Responsibilities - Develop and execute marketing and communications plans for CFCI student-facing programs
- Write engaging content for newsletters, websites, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms
- Interview PhD students, postdocs, and alumni to develop success stories and spotlight features
- Create promotional materials for programs, workshops, and events
- Identify opportunities to promote CFCI programs through courses, student organizations, and campus events
- Assist with outreach campaigns aimed at recruiting new students into CFCI programs
- Maintain website and digital content
- Support coordination of events and program activities
