Responsibilities and Duties: · Develop a communications plan that is aligned with the growing community schools and university-assisted community schools movement · Organize monthly newsletters, quarterly regional network calls, regional gatherings, and annual symposiums · Recruit, onboard, and support UACS advisory boards at participating campuses · Support Central North Carolina community school practitioner pipeline initiatives in partnership with NCCSC practitioners · Support alignment and dissemination of best practices with the UACS National Network Requirements: The ideal candidate will be an active graduate student at Duke University with an interest in public-school advocacy, community health, community organizing, and social science research. Experience with project management, editorial skills, social media, and communication a plus. |
