Job Description

E-Team Peer Advisors will assist first-year engineering students in their transition to Duke by creating an immediate network of support from engineering students who can answer questions, share experiences, and offer advice. Through one-on-one interactions, programming, content creation, and campus outreach, and help-seeking modeling, E-Team Peer Advisors will assist their peers as they navigate academic and social decisions, and embrace well-being. E-Team Peer Advisors will be paired with a 360 Coach based on EGR101 class schedules.

Job Requirements

Pratt E-Team members must be of junior or senior standing during the 2026-2027 academic year, and be present on campus (not studying abroad 26-27). Members will be selected to represent a variety of engineering majors. E-Team members must be of good academic standing and responsible for the following duties:

Meet with students (at least monthly)
Attend and organize campus events with your group
Attend training meetings and check-ins with 360 Coach and supervisor
Communicate weekly with assigned cohorts via email
