As a member of the Student Involvement & Leadership team, the Graduate Assistant will assist in advising a chapters and councils members from the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC). The GA will take responsibility for FSL programs and events, maintain recordkeeping and assessment efforts for the Duke Greek Community Standards, and serve as a resource for the fraternities and sororities on-campus. Pay rate is betwen $16-$21/hour. - Support in advising the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC).
- Coach a portofolio of approximately 5-6 chapters.
- Oversee and manage the tracking of organization progress within the Duke Greek Community Standards (DGCS) program.
- Help plan and execute annual educational programs and initiatives such as Neo Orientation, AFLV trip, FSL Showcase, and any health/wellness training.
- Coordinate educational and personal development programming fro chapter leadership.
- Plan and coordinate the student leadership conference during the academic year.
- Serve as part of the greater Campus Life team, offering opportunities for connection related to student organization support, large-scale programming, event management, and logistics, and leadership development. Support office and departmental programs as an additional event support member at evening and weekend programming.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including executing administrative projects, team assignments, and committee work.
