The Community Navigation program led by Professor Kenneth Dodge in the Center for Child and Family Policy in the Sanford School of Public Policy is seeking an undergraduate research assistant (RA) to help with coding parent interviews for compassion and self-compassion. The RA will work closely with a research scientist and research analyst on the study team to gain a deep theoretical understanding of compassion and self-compassion as it relates to parenting and be trained to reliably code videos of parent interviews for compassion and self-compassion, as well as contributing to other study tasks as needed. Bi-lingual English-Spanish preferred and prior experience working with children and families or majoring in the social sciences. Flexibility in hours, but roughly 10 hrs/wk for 9 weeks in June, July, and/or August (June 3, 2024 - August 9, 2024).
