Job Description

The Pratt School of Engineering is recruiting undergraduate engineering student tour guides for summer 2025, fall 2025 and/or spring 2026! Pratt tour guides share their passion for engineering by leading walking tours for prospective students and their families. Tour guides may also serve on in-person or virtual panels and must be comfortable being on camera and answering questions about their experiences as Duke Engineers. Pratt tours are offered weekdays in the early afternoon. Tours last approximately one hour. Virtual tours are offered once a week.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: This role is for enthusiastic undergraduate engineering students who are eager to connect with others and proudly represent Pratt and Duke. Ideal candidates enjoy engaging with visitors, are willing to learn the tour script, and can confidently serve as the face of Pratt to prospective students and guests. This role offers the opportunity to develop leadership, public speaking, and networking skills while making a meaningful impact on future engineers.
