Job Description

My collaborator and I are looking for an RA to perform data analysis on a DH project. Interest in the humanities / DH is an asset but not required. Knowledge of history, literature, or sociology would be especially useful. The job will involve a combination of coding tasks and data cleaning / data entry, i.e., some interesting and (I hope) intellectually engaging work and some more rote but extremely necessary work.

Job Requirements

Required skills include web scraping, data cleaning, data analysis, and coding. Applicants should also be able to think through problems flexibly and propose solutions. Reliability is a must: RAs for this position must be independent workers. They must be able to work, on average, 5 hours a week, though hours will be flexible and RAs will be free to structure their time as they see fit. They should also be detail-oriented.
