Applicants for the internship must have completed two courses in Chemistry or have been recommended by a previous Learning Community Leader. The successful candidate will normally work approximately 6-10 hours a week in the Center for Multicultural Affairs —which in addition to the sessions may include meetings, scheduled Learning Community events, or preparation for the sessions, etc. The successful candidates will also have the following qualifications: Must have achieved no less than a B in Organic Chemistry classes, Orgo 201 and Orgo 202 Must have excellent interpersonal skills Must possess the desire to work with diverse populations and learning styles |
