The Office of Strategic Communications in the Duke University School of Medicine is seeking a student to serve as a part-time video producer to help tell the story of the School of Medicine’s students, faculty, and staff. Video projects would range from leadership video announcements to highlights of groundbreaking research, to student stories. Part-time video producer would be expected to work 10-15 hours/week during the academic year, and would report directly to the Office of Strategic Communications’ Multimedia Producer. Qualified candidates must possess the following: · Have experience producing a video of at least 2 minutes in length from start to finish, including scheduling, interviewing, filming, editing · Own a DSLR video camera (or similar camera) that can shoot HD video at 1920 x 1080 · Have at least 1 portable light for lighting subjects. · Have access to Adobe Premiere Pro for editing · Be familiar with sharing large files through DropBox or similar · Be professional and courteous in all matters of working with a subject Interested candidates should email a letter of interest, resume, and 2 video work samples to Jim Rogalski, jim.rogalski@gmail.com |
