We are looking for a student who wants to get involved in helping grow and promote the Innovation Co-Lab at Duke. ? The Innovation Co-Lab is a creativity incubator, focused on exploring how new and emerging technologies can fundamentally reshape the research, academic, and service missions of the university. ?Working with our entrepreneurial-minded colleagues around campus, we're building a model program that will elevate and inspire Duke students who are solving problems, big and small, through our ever-changing technological environment. For this role, we're looking for someone who has their finger on the pulse of the student body.? Ideally, this candidate will have good networks, be comfortable reaching out to student groups, club leadership, and other campus 'influencers' in order to share specific opportunities offered by the Co-Lab.? While our larger marketing team covers broad outreach, this position will be focused on more direct and custom marketing, for specific events to specific groups.? Additionally, we will be looking for this role to help us find new niche outlets for sharing Co-Lab events, or partnering with existing programming to broaden the Co-Lab coalition. build and maintain a Co-Lab "CRM" where we can organize and categorize potential outreach avenues and deploy them as needed for specific opportunities Build a network of "friends of the Co-Lab" who can help us share specific opportunities with their constituencies
Broaden the Co-Lab Community by proposing and helping design and deliver new programming that welcomes underrepresented groups to our offerings. Stay on top of campus events, understand where the students will be, and propose ways the Co-Lab can have a meaningful and appropriate presence at those events to grow our community.? Work with the larger Co-Lab Marketing team to propose and develop original outreach content, including posters, articles, videos, stories, and other multimedia assets to promote the Innovation Co-Lab Keeping detailed meeting notes
