Student Office Assistant needed for the John Hope Franklin Center The John Hope Franklin Center for Interdisciplinary and International Studies is a unique consortium of programs committed to revitalizing notions of how knowledge is gained and exchanged. Inspired by the example of John Hope Franklin – Duke professor emeritus, historian, intellectual leader, and life-long civil rights activist—the Franklin Center fosters fresh approaches to scholarship and learning while offering stimulating opportunities to the larger community. The student assistant will be responsible for digitizing and filing paper files and documentation in the John Hope Franklin Center as assigned. This includes items that require a high degree of confidentiality. Duties include: · Digitizing office files · Supporting general administrative tasks · Responding with grace to ad hock requests |
