We require students to be reliable, as a missed or late feeding may be life threatening to fragile puppies. The main requirements are to ensure the dogs/puppies are active and eating regularly and treat for any signs of hypoglycemia as needed. All training will be performed hands-on in person to help build the skills required. Our greatest need will be for students that can help during the summer breaks, especially the latter half. Demonstration of excellent care for the dogs may allow for some projects to be perfomed in the lab. Work study is strongly preferred. |
