We require students to be reliable, as a missed or late feeding may be life threatening to fragile puppies. The main requirements are to ensure the dogs/puppies are active and eating regularly and treat for any signs of hypoglycemia as needed. All training will be performed hands-on in person to help build the skills required. Our greatest need right now is for people to fill early morning (4 am) shifts and that can work during fall and winter breaks. Demonstration of excellent care for the dogs may allow for some projects to be perfomed in the lab. Work study is preferred. |
