The 9th Street Journal (9thstreetjournal.org) is published by students in the DeWitt Wallace Center for Media & Democracy in the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University. The goal of The 9th Street Journal is to publish news and feature articles about Durham and give the students opportunities to cover important issues facing urban America and our democratic systems. The 9th Street Journal hires student reporters and photojournalists at the beginning of each semester, and over the summer. To demonstrate required experience, students need to have taken PJMS 367S Newswriting and Reporting, or have other reporting experience. Samples of work requested. |
