Working at the Co-Lab is one of the most exciting and rewarding student jobs on campus. As a Makerspace Technician, you'll have the opportunity to work with some of Duke’s most advanced manufacturing tools and resources—everything from 3D printers to CNC machines and laser cutters. Plus, you'll play a key role in supporting other students, faculty, and staff as they explore their creative potential with these tools. The Co-Lab operates three facilities on West and East Campuses: · The Technology Engagement Center (TEC) · The Rubenstein Arts Center (Ruby) · The Wilson Dormitory so, you'll get the chance to work in a variety of spaces, each equipped with the latest tools for crafting, prototyping, and making. Whether you’re helping someone design a custom 3D print, troubleshooting projects for users, or demonstrating how to use a laser cutter, you'll be part of an inspiring and collaborative community.
