We are seeking a highly motivated undergraduate to join our team in the laboratory of Prof Tatiana Segura (https://seguralab.duke.edu/) in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Duke University. The Segura lab engineers therapeutic materials to promote wound healing and tissue regeneration using chemically modifying polymers that mimic tissue structure. The current project is focused on identifying the sugar or glycan cues involved in stroke pathophysiology. This is an unpaid, volunteer-only position. It will give the researcher a unique to have a hands-on experience in project design and learn several wet-lab techniques in the field of biomedical engineering.
1) Any previous wet-lab experience with techniques mentioned in the job description would be very useful
