Job Description

Spring 2027 - Mondays and Wednesdays 1:25-2:40 PM (Lecture); Fridays 10:20-11:10 AM **Lecture attendance preferred but not required**

1) Attend class and discussion sections
2) Prepare and lead discussion sections
3) Hold office hours (minimal)
4) Field emails pertinent to class
5) Grade problem sets
6) Assist with exams (proofing, grading)

Note: one TA will not take on all of these duties; rather, we will figure out an allocation of duties across the course TAs based on preferences and availability.

Job Requirements

A successful TA will have a strong background in applied microeconomics, PUBPOL 303, or has taken PubPol 810 or equivalent (microeconomics) and has performed well (A- or better).

Work-study eligible students highly encouraged. If you have previous experience as a teaching assistant for the Sanford School of Public Policy, you will be eligible to receive an increased pay rate of $21.00 per hour.
